About Cameron Pitts

I’m Cameron Pitts, a commercial and editorial photographer based in Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas. I create portrait-driven imagery that blends clean lighting, honest expression, and a strong sense of story—whether for brands, publications, or creative campaigns.

I’ve worked directly with clients like NorthPark Center, where I photographed brand-hosted experiences including a performance by the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra. I also recently photographed Celebrity Chief and TV Personality Robbie Shoults, the face of Bear Creek Smokehouse, in a series of portraits designed to elevate his personal brand while staying grounded in Texas tradition.

Every shoot I take on is guided by a clear, intentional process. I specialize in on-location lighting, designing setups that complement both the subject and the space without overpowering either. Whether I’m working with natural light or building a full set, I approach lighting as a storytelling tool—something that should feel seamless, not showy. I’m also highly collaborative: I take time to scout, plan, and create an environment where people feel like themselves.

In addition to my own assignments, I’ve photo assisted on productions for Nike - Jordan Brand on a shoot of Luka Doncic. I’ve been on jobs multiple jobs for The Wall Street Journal, D Magazine, Texas Monthly, The Guardian, and The New York Post. Working alongside seasoned creative teams has sharpened my eye and my process—especially when it comes to balancing artistic direction with logistical clarity.

When I’m not behind the camera, I spend time outdoors, stay involved in my church community, and keep exploring new ways to tell human stories with depth and clarity.

I’m currently available for freelance photography in commercial, editorial, lifestyle and limited wedding work throughout Texas and beyond.
